Strings are locates with as many optional transformations as you want.

  1. Choices
    Here's an example of a Locate (including axis for reference:

    ... going through various transformations:
    1. Mirror
      Reverse the locate line vertically to get it's mirror image.
    2. Flip
      Reverse the locate line horizontally, so that it's upside-down.
    3. Rotate 90°
      Rotate the line 90° clockwise.
    4. Rotate 180°
      Rotate the line 180° clockwise (half-way around).
    5. Rotate 270°
      Rotate the line 270° clockwise (or 90° counter-clockwise).
    6. Slide
      Multiply each point on the line by the value entered in the Factor field and then the resulting line is fitted back into its axis.
    7. Sweep
      Exponentialize each point on the line by the value entered in the Factor field (each point is put to a power of the factor field) and then the resulting line is fitted back into its axis.
